Maruti’s website indicates that it has relaunched the Ritz Elate limited edition which was available in July this year. Based on the mid VXi/VDi variant, the Elate sees several feature additions on the exterior and interior of the hatchback.
Alloy wheels, which are otherwise available only on the top-end variants, are seen on the Elate edition. The sides of the car get body graphics and door visors.
Inside, Maruti is offering a 2-DIN JVC music system with Bluetooth compatibility and an AUX-in port.
Again, a music system is otherwise seen on the ZXi/ZDi, though Bluetooth is not offered on any variant.
The seats get a special seat cover with Orange contrasts and a pillow, and a multipurpose bag is to be found at the rear.
Finally, the Elate gets rear parking sensors (a feature that is not offered even on the top-end variants) and floor mats.
The petrol variant of the Ritz Elate edition is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder K-Series engine that makes 87 PS (85.77 bhp) and 114 Nm of torque, and comes paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. Maruti also offers a 4-speed automatic with this engine.
The diesel Ritz gets a 1.3-litre MultiJet that makes 75 PS (73.94 bhp) and 190 Nm of torque and comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
