The locally-manufactured Range Rover Evoque is now available for sale with deliveries expected to begin from early April 2015 and will be priced between Rs 48.73 lakh and Rs 56.21 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai, pre-Octroi), the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the development, Jaguar Land Rover India President Rohit Suri said: "This will enable us to access a wider audience which consists of discerning and premium Indian customers who have always loved the brand, aspired to own this SUV and be seen in it."
Stating that India is a market that offers significant opportunities for both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands, he said: "Our investment in the Pune facility demonstrates our continued long-term commitment to the Indian market."

The company said production at the Pune plant has tripled since its inauguration in 2011 and this latest development in the facility comes as part of Jaguar Land Rover's plans to expand its manufacturing footprint globally, increasing its production capacity outside of the UK.
The Range Rover Evoque will be available in three variants priced at Rs 48.73 lakh, Rs 52.40 lakh and Rs 56.21 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Mumbai, pre-Octroi).
