The Gurgaon-based Amtek Auto Ltd is planning to acquire the Rs 900 crore ((Rs 9 billion) GWK group , a United Kingdom-based automotive component firm.
The board of Amtek Auto would consider a proposal at its meeting scheduled on March 16 to acquire 100 per cent controlling stake in GWK group Ltd and its two subsidiaries, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The two subsidiaries of the UK-based group are King Automotive Systems Ltd and Gwo W King Ltd, it said.
