The deal to be the brand ambassador for Emami, a Kolkata-based skin care company, will be Bachchan's biggest such contract, the Hindustan Times said.
The superstar will be paid about Rs 100 million annually for 10 days of work for the company.
Bachchan, 61, is among India's top brand ambassadors for many companies.
"The deal hasn't been concluded yet but it will surely be straight from the top drawer," Sunil Doshi, the star's brand consultant, told the newspaper.
