The Delhi High Court has restrained four Hyderabad-based traders from using the trademark of Japan's Ajinomoto Co Inc.
Following the instructions of Justice Dr. M K Sharma, local commissioners seized approximately 1,500 packets of monosodium glutamate bearing the infringed trademark from the four entities in Hyderabad.
The traders were selling monosodium glutamate bearing the trademark AJI-NO-MOTOr and the Japanese characters without authorisation from Ajinomoto Co, the company said in a release in Mumbai on Thursday.
