Hyderabad on Singapore Airlines' radar

Singapore Airlines will operate flights on Hyderabad-Singapore sector from October 30, a company release said on Wednesday.

Singapore Airlines intends to operate four flights a week from Singapore to Hyderabad and back on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting from October 30, the release said.

The flight will arrive at 0820 IST and depart for Singapore at 2120 IST the same day, it said.

Currently, Singapore Airlines is operating one A320 flight with 130-passenger capacity through its subsidiary airlines, Silk Air.

Boeing 777 flight with 300-seats would be pressed into service from October 30.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy would formally inaugurate the service on October 29, the release added.
