"Badiali is no longer with us," a senior GoAir official told PTI. The official did not elaborate on Badiali's resignation.
Badiali is understood to have put in his papers on Sunday evening.
He was appointed GoAir CEO in January 2008, shifting from Italian low-cost carrier My Air. He has also worked with Swiss Air and Jet Airways.
Badiali is the second GoAir official to have resigned in recent times. Last month, its chief financial officer G P Gupta quit the airline to join rival low-cost carrier SpiceJet.
