Air-India is likely to get a full-time chairman and managing director soon.
According to sources, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has zeroed in on V Tulasi Das, a 1972 batch IAS officer from the Tripura cadre, for the post.
A search committee had been constituted in early November this year to shortlist candidates for the post. It had selected two candidates out of the 12 in the shortlist.
