Grand double by Sania Mirza

Sania Mirza won the girls' singles title in the Junior ITF tennis tournament, played at the University of Pretoria.

Top seed Sania defeated second seed and compatriot Isha Lakhani 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 in a tightly-contested final on Saturday.

She went on to complete a grand double, by winning the doubles event in partnership Lakhani. Seeded No. 1, the pair defeated South Africa's Tammy Day and Tarryn Terblanche 6-3, 6-1

It was the second doubles title in two weeks for the young Indian pair.

Third seed Alexander Miotto from Great Britain won the boys' singles title. He beat 13th seed Phillip Simonds of the US 6-4, 6-3.

Isha had won a grand double at the last week's event at the Groenkloof tennis stadium.
