TiE Company Forum To Discuss Biz Strategies, Models

Ever wonder what industry and corporate leaders like to talk about when they get together? What are the issues they struggle with, what trends do they follow and how their opinions differ from one another?

The Indus Entrepreneurs has organized on September 26 a company forum at which some of the most dynamic and stimulating industry leaders and academics will discuss a variety of business topics.

Presidents and CEOs of companies at various stages of development will participate on a panel moderated by Professor Mohanbir Sawhney, Tribune Professor of Electronic Commerce and Technology at Kellogg Graduate School of Management and Roy Cowell, president of Cowell & Associates Ltd.

Sawhney will introduce topics relating to strategy and business model. Roy will discuss human resources, organizational culture and options.

The Indus Entrepreneurs is an organization of industry professionals who share the common interests of promoting and fostering entrepreneurial efforts. The members of TiE come from a variety of corporate and academic backgrounds and are united in their efforts to provide a dynamic and vibrant environment in which entrepreneurs can share their experiences and draw from a common pool of knowledge and experience.

EthnicGrocers.Com: Parry Singh (CEO) & Subhash Bedi (COO).

Mastech Corporation: Sunil Wadhwani (CEO and co-founder).

Starbelly.Com: Brad Keywell (president).

uBid.Com: Greg Jones (president and CEO).

The forum events will take place at Holiday Inn Mart Plaza 350 North Orleans Street, Chicago (312 836-5000), from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Fees: Free for members if you preregister, $ 15 at the door. Non-members pay $ 15 when they preregister or $ 25 at the door. The fees include the cost of appetizers and parking.
