Aamir Khan to Attend Mann Screenings In NY, NJ

Aamir Khan will attend screenings of his newest film, Mann, at theaters in New York and New Jersey on July 13 and July 14 respectively, according to Yashraj Films, the movie's distributors.

Aamir, whose Earth will be in the mainstream theaters in North America in September, is seen as a playboy who is irresistibly drawn into a tempestuous romance on a luxury liner. The film is directed by Indra Kumar, the maker of the huge hits, Dil, Beta, Raja and Ishq.

Mann, the third film being distributed by Yashraj Films in America and Canada, follows the record-breaking run of Dil To Pagal Hai and Kuch Kuch Hota Hain.

Mann could open in more than 35 movie houses on July 9; Yashraj films is clearly setting to break the record of the recent hit, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which grossed nearly $ 500,000 in 30 movie houses. Variety listed it among the top 20 grossing films in North America for the week.

Yashraj is distributing the film worldwide. More than 70 prints of the film will be showing in United States, Canada and United Kingdom this month.
