It was reported that Abhishek Bachchan was roped in for a guest appearance in Karan Johar's Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham. For the director it meant a casting coup of sorts, at that time, with the entire Bachchan clan in the film.

We now hear that the concerned scene has been snipped at the editing table. It is believed that Abhishek had telephoned Karan and asked him to remove his part from the film.

But insiders say that Johar had already deleted Abhishek's part before Abhishek's request.

Hrithik not to act with Abhishek

Hrithik Roshan is baffled by rumours which say that he will to act with Abhishek Bachchan in Rajkumar Santoshi's Rashk. The actor says he is clueless as to how the rumours originated.

The latest buzz is that Ajay Devgan has now been roped in for the film.

Redemption for Nadeem

Hindi film music director Nadeem Saifi, who successfully fought against his extradition by India to stand trial in the Gulshan Kumar murder case, said that he would get a sum of 920,080.83 pounds towards cost of his legal battle.

Nadeem, said that he received an official intimation from the London High Court that he would get 920,080.83 pounds towards reimbursement cost.

The House of Lords had earlier turned down an appeal by the Government of India seeking a review of the London High Court's decision against his extradition to stand trial in the Gulshan Kumar murder case.

Double bill -- Aftab Shivdasani

Aftab Shivdasani Aftab Shivdasani is excited about his next project, a sci-fi film, tentatively titled Jaane Kya Hoga Aage.

He plays a man who clones himself. Preeti Jhangiani and Bipasha Basu are paired opposite the actor in first double role.
